The Department of Early Childhood Education is bound to maintain its own website https://ece.uth.gr accessible, according to the legal provisions 4727/2020 (184, A’) Chapter 8th – Digital Accessibility (articles 36-47), as it stands.

The sections of this website included in the Sitemap have been tested and found to be fully compliant with the applicable Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AAA.

 

Not accessible content

The content included in the website was not examined to its full extent in terms of its compliance, as this would entail a disproportionate burden. Therefore, single posts of the following types may not be accessible:

a.    News – Announcements, Events

b.    Attached documents of various file formats.

 

Procedure and monitoring actions

The website’s accessibility assessment was carried out using special accessibility assessment tools. Specifically, it included the following actions:

Scan with the Wave Web Accessibility tool (powered by WebAIM) and AC Checker to automatically flag and fix potential accessibility issues.
