Accessibility center for students with disabilities and/or special educational needs

The Department of Early Childhood Education pays particular attention to the equal access of students with disabilities to the educational activities and the infrastructure of the Department. To this end, the Department collaborates with the centre/service “PROSVASI”, which operates within the University of Thessaly and offers guidance and assistance to the students with disabilities (https://prosvasi.uth.gr/en/%ce%b1%cf%81%cf%87%ce%b9%ce%ba%ce%ae-english/). The Department has also set up a committee consisting of academic staff aiming at supporting students with disabilities. In addition, students of the Department offer voluntary work to provide individualised assistance to their fellow students in need.
