Dr. Magda Vitsou holds a degree from the Department of Early Childhood Education of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (1996). She earned a Master’s degree in Education from the Department of Early Childhood Education at the University of Thessaly (2007) and a PhD in Theatre Pedagogy from the Department of Theatre Studies at the School of Fine Arts, University of Peloponnese (2016). In 2022, she completed her postdoctoral research at the Department of Early Childhood Education, University of Thessaly. She has specialized in Therapeutic Puppetry through “The School of Puppet Therapy-Chile” and Puppetry in Education through the “London School of Puppetry.” Her research interests focus on applied puppetry in early childhood and primary education, as well as education for socially vulnerable groups. Since 2019, she has been working in the Department of Early Childhood Education as a Special Teaching Staff member. She has participated in scientific conferences as a presenter, authored and published academic papers, and is involved in European research programs. She is also a collaborator with the Laboratory of Theoretical and Applied Pedagogy.
