Responsibility for the maximum utilisation of the range of creative potential in each child lies with the kindergarten teacher, whose task is to develop in his\/her young charges a desire for creation through a wide variety of forms of expression.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Learning outcomes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the course students are expected to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>understand the importance of creating a learning environment that is a source of\u00a0 experiencesand encourages the child to explore in preschool,<\/li>\n<li>to clarify the role that the teacher is called to play in the cultivation of imagination and the development of creative thinking in kindergarten,<\/li>\n<li>understand the importance of experiential activities and different forms of expression, drawing ideas and goals from all learning areas of the curriculum<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Assessment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Course assessment involves a) written exams at the end of the semester b) students group assignments.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Teaching methods<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lectures, conversation, introduction to theoretical knowledge based on bibliography, laboratory exercises.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Course Code (in greek): \u03a0\u03910401 ECTS Units: 5 Semester: 6 Professor: Michalopoulou Aikaterini Course material &nbsp; Course description The cultivation of the imagination and of creative thought is indisputably an objective of primary significance in pre-school education.
