It offers an MA course in Education, as well as opportunities for doctoral and post-doctoral research.<br \/>\nSince September 2018, the Department runs the programme Master of Arts (M.A.) in Education, \u201cEducational Sciences: Creative Educational Environments and Playing\u201d. This employs a multidisciplinary approach to the critical exploration of the pedagogical dimensions of play and creative learning, in a variety of educational environments. It is supported by teaching from the members of the Department and, additionally, by important guests from the academy and the arts.<br \/>\nThe current MA in Education Programme continues, reforms and advances the constructive tradition of the previous M.A. programme, \u201cEducational Sciences: Pedagogical Play and Educational Material in Early Childhood\u201d, that had been run by the DECE successfully from 2005-06 to 2017-18.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Early Childhood Education (DECE) consistently supports post-graduate studies and research.
