The Department of Early Childhood Education (DECE) consistently supports post-graduate studies and research. It offers an MA course in Education, as well as opportunities for doctoral and post-doctoral research.
\nSince September 2018, the Department runs the programme Master of Arts (M.A.) in Education, \u201cEducational Sciences: Creative Educational Environments and Playing\u201d. This employs a multidisciplinary approach to the critical exploration of the pedagogical dimensions of play and creative learning, in a variety of educational environments. It is supported by teaching from the members of the Department and, additionally, by important guests from the academy and the arts.
\nThe current MA in Education Programme continues, reforms and advances the constructive tradition of the previous M.A. programme, \u201cEducational Sciences: Pedagogical Play and Educational Material in Early Childhood\u201d, that had been run by the DECE successfully from 2005-06 to 2017-18.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
